Eligibility

• Students, Faculty and Staff, University Affiliates- All UNC Charlotte students, affiliates, faculty, and staff who are currently enrolled or employed and present a UNC Charlotte ID Card prior to entry into the gymnasium may access all of the recreational areas at no charge. Because their card will not scan valid, Affiliates must obtain a membership card from the Recreational Facilities Management office. This card will be provided free of charge to Affiliates.

• Faculty/Staff Spouse/Partner - Spouses/Partners with any SAC fitness membership are permitted to use the Belk Gymnasium recreational facilities at no additional charge.

• Spouses or Partners without SAC memberships/Children - Students, Faculty/Staff, or University Affiliates with a current UNC Charlotte ID card must purchase a Family membership card for their spouse/partner and/or children (under the age of 18) to access this facility (for fees, see Schedule C). If Faculty/Staff sponsor becomes ineligible to use Belk Gymnasium, all family memberships will be voided (without refund).

• Retired Faculty/Staff and Spouse/Domestic partner must purchase a Belk Dependent membership to access the Belk facilities. Each person is required to purchase a membership.

• Guests - Students or Faculty/Staff with a current UNC Charlotte ID card may bring a maximum of two guests to the Belk Gymnasium per visit (see Guest Policy).

• Alumni - UNC Charlotte Alumni may enter as a guest (see Guest Policy). They may not sponsor additional guests.
