AccessibilityParking and Access Parking for guests with disabilities is located in the surface lot at the west end of the facility, accessible by Cameron Boulevard. Accessible parking spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. This lot may also be used as an Accessible drop-off location. Convenient wheelchair access to Halton Arena is available at all entrances to the building. Public elevators are located in the main concourse outside of section 116. Accessible Seating Seating for persons with disabilities is available by calling 704-687-4949, or by visiting the Arena Box Office during normal business hours. When purchasing tickets, please mention that you are in need of accessible seating so that we may assist with the appropriate arrangements. Seating for persons with disabilities is limited, therefore, only one additional ticket is allowed for a companion within the same section. If other tickets are needed, they will be pulled as close as possible to the disabled section as available. Assistive Listening Devices For guests who are hard of hearing, the arena provides Assistive Listening Devices at no cost. For assistance in obtaining one please see the Guest Services booth located in the center of the main concourse. Restrooms Public restrooms are accessible to our guests with disabilities. The arena is also equipped with private unisex restrooms (companion friendly) that are located at either end of the main concourse, behind sections 116 and 126. Service Animals Service animals for the disabled are permitted in the Halton Arena. If accommodations are required for your service animal, please notify us at the time of your ticket purchase. Emergency Evacuation Procedures Designated Halton Arena staff and other personnel have been trained in proper procedures for emergency preparedness. These designated staff members will have the duty of assisting guests with disabilities. For guests who are not on the main concourse level in the event of an emergency, the enclosed stairwells at either end of the concourse are designated as Areas of Rescue Assistance. |
