Membership Requirements

• Students must present a current UNC Charlotte ID Card prior to entry into the facilities.

• Graduate Students purchasing a membership must present a current UNC Charlotte ID card to purchase a membership. ID plus membership card must be presented to enter the facilities.

• Faculty/Staff must show a current UNC Charlotte ID Card prior to obtaining a membership.

• Faculty/Staff or retired Faculty/Staff must have a current membership in order for spouse to join.

• Retired Faculty/Staff and Spouse/Domestic Partner must have a UNC Charlotte ID Card or a government issued picture identification, which they must present along with the membership card for entry into the facilities.

• Faculty/Staff member must be present when the membership for his/her spouse/partner is purchased. Spouse/partner members may access the facility unaccompanied.

• Faculty/Staff members must present their UNC Charlotte ID Card along with their current membership card to access the facility.

• Faculty/Staff/Spouse/Partner members (with memberships other than Group Fitness or Belk Gym) may access any recreational area of the SAC during any hours that area is open for "Free Play." Because the SAC is a multi-purpose facility, there are times some areas will be closed to accommodate other activities.

• University Affiliates must present written documentation of employment from their respective employers to obtain authorization for facility use. Projected employment termination date must be indicated and facility privileges will not extend beyond that date. The affiliates must also have a current UNC Charlotte ID.

• All Parking fees will be at the expense of the membership holder.
